What is S TCM? What are the medical concept and specific modes of diagnosis & treatment the S TCM follow?<\/p>\n
\u7b80\u3001\u4fbf\u3001\u9a8c\u3001\u5ec9\u3001\u5b89\u7684\u795e\u5947\u7597\u6548<\/p>\n
\u9996\u5148\u6211\u7ed9\u5927\u5bb6\u770b\u4e24\u4e2a\u6848\u4f8b\u2014\u2014\u8fd9\u5f20\u7167\u7247\u62cd\u6444\u4e8e\u632f\u8361\u4e2d\u533b\u7684\u8bfe\u5802\u30022023\u5e746\u6708\u7684\u6df1\u5733\uff0c\u5929\u6c14\u975e\u5e38\u708e\u70ed\u3002\u8fd9\u4f4d\u6765\u81ea\u6210\u90fd\u7684\u5973\u751f\uff0c\u5374\u7a7f\u7740\u4e09\u5c42\u539a\u539a\u7684\u8863\u670d\uff0c\u8fd8\u6367\u7740\u6696\u624b\u5b9d\u3002\u5979\u4ece2016\u5e74\u751f\u75c5\u540e\u4fbf\u65e0\u6cd5\u5de5\u4f5c\uff0c\u5230\u5904\u6c42\u533b\u95ee\u836f\uff0c\u6765\u4e0a\u8bfe\u7684\u4e3b\u8981\u76ee\u7684\u4e5f\u662f\u6cbb\u75c5\u3002\u8bfe\u7a0b\u4e2d\uff0c\u6211\u6839\u636e\u5979\u7684\u8109\u8c61\uff0c\u7528\u5f88\u7b80\u6d01\u7684\u56db\u5473\u5e38\u7528\u836f\u8865\u9aa8\u81020.2\u514b\u8089\u68420.1\u514b\u67b3\u58f30.1\u514b\u4e39\u53c20.1\u514b\u3002\u4f46\u5c31\u662f\u8fd9\u6781\u5c11\u7684\u4e2d\u836f\u7834\u58c1\u7c89\uff0c\u542b\u670d\u540e\uff0c\u5979\u7acb\u5373\u624b\u811a\u6696\u4e86\uff0c\u8eab\u4f53\u8f7b\u677e\u4e86\uff0c\u8131\u4e0b\u539a\u539a\u7684\u8863\u670d\uff0c\u975e\u5e38\u5f00\u5fc3\u5730\u8bf4\u81ea\u5df1\u4ece\u6ca1\u6709\u8fc7\u7684\u8212\u9002\uff01<\/p>\n
First of all, \uff29would show you two cases — This photo was taken in a class of S TCM course. In June 2023, Shenzhen is very hot, this lady from Chengdu wearing three layers of thick clothing and holding a hand warmer. She had been not able to work since falling ill in 2016 and had been seeking medical help from various sources. In the class, according to her pulse, I used 4 types of medicine which are very common: psoralea 0.2g cinnamon 0.1g bitter orange 0.1g Danshen 0.1g. With this very small amount of Chinese medicine wall-breaking powder, her hands and feet warmed up, she felt light and took off her thick clothes. She expressed joy and relaxation she hadn’t experienced before.<\/p>\n
\u518d\u6765\u770b\u8fd9\u4e00\u4f4d\uff0c\u5168\u8eab\u6e7f\u75b9\uff0c\u9762\u90e8\u5316\u8113\u51e0\u4e4e\u8981\u6bc1\u5bb9\u4e86\u3002\u5979\u5f53\u65f6\u5f88\u7126\u8651\uff0c\u5728\u5f53\u5730\u533b\u9662\u68c0\u67e5\u4e3a\u771f\u83cc\u611f\u67d3\uff0c\u5403\u4e86\u5f88\u591a\u897f\u836f\u5374\u6ca1\u6709\u6548\u679c\u3002\u6211\u4eec\u4f9d\u7136\u662f\u7528\u5c11\u91cf\u7684\u5c0f\u836f\u7c89\uff0c\u4ee5\u8865\u6c14\u6e29\u9633\u4e3a\u4e3b\uff0c\u517c\u5316\u6e7f\u7600\uff0c\u6ca1\u6709\u7528\u4efb\u4f55\u6e05\u70ed\u836f\u3002\u77ed\u77ed\u4e94\u5929\u65f6\u95f4\uff0c\u5979\u7684\u6e7f\u75b9\u6d88\u9000\u5e72\u51c0\uff0c\u6ca1\u6709\u7559\u4e00\u70b9\u513f\u5370\u75d5\u3002\u8fd9\u5f20\u7167\u7247\u5c31\u662f\u5979\u540e\u6765\u53c2\u52a0\u632f\u8361\u4e2d\u533b\u7684\u5b66\u4e60\u65f6\u62cd\u7684\uff0c\u9762\u90e8\u975e\u5e38\u5149\u6ed1\u3002<\/p>\n
Let\u2019s look at the other case. The patient had eczema all over her body, almost disfiguring. She was very anxious, local hospital said that was fungal infection. She took lots of Western medicine however didn\u2019t work. We still used small amount of Chinese medicine powder, of which focused on tonifying Qi warming yang and removing dampness at the same time, no heat-clearing medicines used. Five days later, her eczema disappeared and no marks left. This photo was taken when she sat S TCM training class later on, her face was smooth.<\/p>\n

There are many cases like this is in the diagnosis and treatment practice of S TCM. Time and again, we witness the miracle of ‘a striking sound immediately arises, with immediate effects,’ and repeatedly marvel at the simplicity, convenience, efficacy, and safety of oscillating pulse diagnosis and medication. ‘Simplicity’ refers to concise theory and simple diagnosis; ‘convenience’ means minimal medication and easy administration; ‘efficacy’ signifies remarkable therapeutic effects; ‘safety’ denotes herbal medicine and food having the same source, with no adverse effects, promoting green safety.<\/p>\n

Why do we call it ‘Oscillating Traditional Chinese Medicine’? Let\u2019s look at this symbol ‘S’ which appears like a swimming loong. In the Tai Chi diagram, it represents the vertical line of the sine wave between yin and yang, it is a comprehensive state of interaction between the two poles of yin and yang\uff0cembracing the negative yin and yang, and generate harmonious energy. It is like a swimming loong, endless, and constantly giving birth to all things. We read it as ‘oscillation’ . It refers to the process of interaction and continuous circulation between the two poles of yin and yang in a broad sense, while in a narrow sense, it refers to the process of qi and liquid circulation in our body’s meridians (nutrient and defensive circulation). It is the deep secret of classical Chinese medicine: the holographic circulation of the life system’s nourishment and defense, symbolized by the pictographic symbol of ‘life cycle’. Under normal circumstances, a person can respond to the body and mind internally and to the heavens and earth externally, transform all disturbances into a unified oscillating circulation at any time, forming the body’s homeostatic control, or self-healing mechanism. In abnormal circumstances, when there are problems with the circulation of qi and blood, we will see various symptoms. It can be said that all diseases are caused by abnormalities in the circulation of qi and blood. Like what was said in the ‘Nei Jing’, ‘When yin is balanced and yang is hidden, the spirit is then treated. Imbalance of yin and yang leads to the proliferation of various diseases.’<\/p>\n

Pulse position: 18 positions, including Cun, Guan, Chi, Floating, Middle, and Sinking, forming the spatiotemporal framework for the circulation of meridian Qi and Yingwei. Pulse force has 6 types: Strong, Soft, Large, Small, Slow, Fast. Pulse quality has 5 types: Stagnation, Stasis, Water, Dampness, and Phlegm. Pathological pulses (abnormal S state) are classified based on deficiency and excess (judged by the strength or weakness of the pulse), governing the Four Correct \u2014 Yin and Yang, Qi, Blood, and the Five Pathogens \u2014 Stagnation, Stasis, Water, Dampness, Phlegm.<\/p>\n

According to The Holy Husbandman’s Classic on Roots and Herbs, it says, ‘it is the top-grade medicine for nourishing life according to nature, non-toxic, safe for long-term use without harming people, for those who want to lighten the body and tonifying qi, and extend life without aging,’ which is very safe for dual medicinal and food use. Dr. Wei established an experimental model of identifying herbal properties based on pulse diagnosis from the beginning. From 300 commonly used drugs, he selected 20 drugs with the best ‘qi’ regulation. He pioneered a precise diagnosis and treatment system that matches single-pulse conditions with single-drug effects, simplifying traditional diagnosis and treatment methods, bridging pulse diagnosis and treatment directly, achieving comprehensive diagnosis and treatment in merely one step.<\/p>\n

Her pulse condition indicated separation of the cold and heat, together with stagnation & stasis. After one month of treatment, wart tumor shriveled and fell off, leaving only a slightly gray mark. It feels as smooth as healthy skin and has no protrusions. It has been more than three years since then, the illness has not been repeated.<\/p>\n

Hippocrates, the father of Western medicine, and Zhang Zhongjin, the sage of Eastern medicine, both believe that the human body is born with a natural healing capacity. Diseases can not only self-healing, but also make the process of self-healing become a reality clinically — by carrying out clinical treatment. As long as clinical medicine can shift its focus away from local lesions and local symptoms, focus on regulation of the internal environment of human body instead, adjust it to the normal state at any time, the cure of all diseases may occur at any time. This is a fact that we are experiencing all the time in the clinical practice of random diagnosis and treatment of S TCM.<\/p>\n
\u7ed3\u8bed\uff1a\u201c\u533b\u5fc3\u3001\u533b\u4eba\u3001\u533b\u533b\u201d<\/p>\n

Looking back on my medical practice experience of more than one decade, I feel that \u201cpuls only no symptoms\u201d are the most unique aspect of S TCM. Only with no symptoms in eyes could we achieve disease self-healing without treatment on the symptoms. Each and every treatment has the function of preventing, treating, rehabilitating, resisting evil, and resisting aging. When Zhang Zhongjing, the medical sage, wrote The Treatise On Cold Damage and Miscellaneous Diseases, his main purposes were to save inversion (treating the harm caused by incorrect treatment to the body) and rectify medicine (treating the incorrect understanding and treatment methods of doctors) and then treat diseases. Treating the disease eliminating physical symptoms in humans is only the task that this practical medical system needs to accomplish. ( Therefore treat mind, treat people, rectify medicine are the goals S TCM trying to achieve.)
